About

We’re taking another crack at this blogging thing in 2012. No pressure; no guarantees about having a post up every day throughout the year. It’s just an honest effort to try to do some more writing this year.

The title? Well, it’s a line from a particularly good episode of Corner Gas that happened to be on while I was setting this up. For me, it’ll be a reminder that sometimes you want the all-natural stuff that’s made with love, and sometimes you want the mass-produced, packaged crap. There’s nothing wrong with the crap per se, as long as you don’t expect that it’s going to taste like the stuff that’s made with love. Mostly, I just really liked the sound of the words together.

The picture? Well, if you’re in – or going to be in – Toronto, ask me about it. It’s a dessert that’s worth the time to track down.

  1. Coca-Cola Zero has been working hard this winter to make the impossible possible and bring the dreams of hockey and Coke Zero fans to life. As part of the effort, we’ve launched a selection of hockey cans and we’d love to arrange a personal delivery. We’re pretty sure you’re a hockey fan  and we’d love to know your thoughts on the new cans. If you’re interested, please share your shipping address we’ll send it along.

    Cheers,
    Christine
